Google Home prices have crashed but these ultimate deals end today

Believe it or not, Google’s Christmas deals are still running and end today. That means you only have hours to capitalise on discounts for every device in the Mountain View firm’s connected home fleet. Google Home starts from as little as £19 in these offers, making now the perfect time to pick up your first smart home device or add to the existing array of smart speakers and smart displays you have scattered around your home.

The Google Home series needs no introduction, but we’re going to give it one anyway… the standard Google Home was the American firm’s first connected home device that arrived back in 2016 to lock horns with Amazon’s Echo series.

The regular Google Home is a great entry-level device – it offers capable sound and of course, has the firm’s chatty Assistant built-in to answer your never-ending list of questions and commands.

As the name suggests, the Google Home Mini is a smaller version of the standard Google Home. The hardware’s audio won’t be good enough to fuel your next house party, but it’ll certainly get the job done if you’re casually streaming music or want to hear the Assistant read the weather forecast.

Then there’s the Google Home Max that’s built for audiophiles who also want to soup-up their home with smart technology. The Max comes equipped with two 4.5-inch woofers that deliver powerful bass and accompany its custom tweeters to help deliver a commendable audio experience.

Although the names are different, Google’s new Nest series is a continuation of its Home lineup. The Google Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max are its smart display offerings that, as the title suggests, come with a touchscreen that can be used to stream video and contextual information when you ask the Assistant questions.

The main difference between the Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max is the fact the latter comes with a built-in Nest Cam that can be used to monitor your home when you’re out and about. Handy right?

Google’s sale will end today at 11.59pm.
