She had been away for so long, staying undercover, pretending to be dead to keep them safe that she was concerned they would not want her back.
However, Tony sends her a video message of Tali saying they loved her and wanted her back home.
Gibbs then told Ziva: “You’re ready”, which is when fans knew she was about to make her exit.
