Jane Seymour, 68, shows off her fabulous figure in strapless purple dress

Jane Seymour, 68, headed to Spain this week to attend the press launch of her new TV show.

The actress, who is best known for playing Solitaire in 1973 James Bond film Live and Let Die and also starred in 1990s TV series Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, was photographed in Madrid last night alongside her co-stars.

Jane will star in new Spanish series Resplandor y Tinieblas, which roughly translates to Glow and Darkness in English.

The historical show, which also stars American actress Denise Richards, 48, will shine a spotlight on some of the most important figures in the Middle Ages.

At last night’s event, Jane showcased her incredible figure in a strapless purple peplum dress.

The pretty knee-length number clung to her curves and highlighted her slim waist and toned pins in the process.

The Golden Globe-winning star completed her outfit with a pair of gem-encrusted nude pumps which elongated her pins.

Mum-of-four Jane wore her long brunette tresses loose over her shoulders for the Spanish event.

She enhanced her natural beauty with classic evening make-up in pink hues which complimented her radiant complexion.

Glitzy chandelier earrings added some sparkle to her elegant ensemble.

Ahead of the photo call co-star Denise told her 1.1 million Instagram followers she was heading to Europe for an “exciting project”.

She said: “Lax [to] Europe…… on a plane. Exciting project.”

The Bold and the Beautiful star added: Long flight, but lovely fun passengers next to me.”

Just last week, the actress took to Instagram to share pictures from her sun-soaked new year break in Tulum with her 135,000 followers.

She showcased her age-defying beach body in a dark blue swimsuit on the social media site.

In the holiday snap, she can be seen posing for a picture by the sea with her hands on her hips and a pair of oversized sunglasses protecting her eyes.

She told her followers: “Sandy toes and a sun-kissed nose… just the way I like it!”
