World War 3 outrage: The chilling tweet Iran posted moments after horror attack on US base

It comes after Trump tweeted a picture of the American flag, following reports emerged stating that the US had assassinated Iranian general Qasem Soleimani. On Tuesday, Iran claimed credit for the two missiles that hit US bases in the middle-east. The US government has said that the projectiles were “clearly launched from Iran” with an intent to hit the US military.

There has been no confirmation of how many US personnel were injured in the strike – if at all – but Trump seemed to suggest casualties were minimal, in a tweet he posted.

He said: “All is well!

“Missiles launched from Iran at two military bases located in Iraq.

“Assessment of casualties & damages taking place now.

“So far, so good!

“We have the most powerful and well equipped military anywhere in the world, by far!

“I will be making a statement tomorrow morning.”

Indeed, there is yet to be word on the injuries sustained in the attack but some sources who spoke to CNN said that there was “only” Iraq causalities at the Al Asad base.

Shortly after, Saeed Jalili mocked the President with his own tweet, this time of the Iranian flag.

The US government says the missie were clearly launched from Iran to target US military and coalition forces in Iraq. .

Iran state TV reported that an’s Revolutionary Guards claimed to have fired the missiles in response to last week’s strike on Iranian general Qassem Soleimani.

In a previous tweet, President Trump said he would retaliate on Iran should they strike by targeting “cultural monuments”.

He said: “The United States just spent Two Trillion Dollars on Military Equipment.

“We are the biggest and by far the BEST in the World!

“If Iran attacks an American Base, or any American, we will be sending some of that brand new beautiful equipment their way…and without hesitation!

The President also worryingly claimed to have a list of 52 targets in Iran which would be attacked if Iran continued.

The Iranian air force has since a number of fighter jets to patrol it airspace, according to reports.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard also warned some of US’ allies – of which includes Israel.

They said they will be attacked if their countries are used for attacks against Tehran, according to Iranian state media.

Following the missilie strike, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Defense Secretary Mark Esper, promptly arrived at the White House.
