Kevin Clifton: ‘I’m all over the place’ Stacey Dooley’s boyfriend makes candid admission

Kevin Clifton, 37, was crowned the champion of Strictly Come Dancing two years ago and more recently on the BBC Christmas special last year. The ballroom professional chatted with his dance partner Debbie McGee, 61, where he revealed in the past “I didn’t want to compete anymore”.

Speaking on BBC Radio Berkshire with Debbie last week, the Strictly star spoke candidly about working with his sister Joanne Clifton, 36, and his busy lifestyle.

Kevin admitted despite being a pro dancer he has always wanted the opportunity to explore different avenues – from theatre to music and singing.

He explained: “Me and Joanne got different partners but we never competed against each other. My sister competed in the ballroom and I competed in the Latin.

“Later on, I got to a point where I didn’t want to compete anymore. I wanted to explore more things, like theatre and all of that.”

Meanwhile, the star recently revealed she is currently spending more time away from the UK and beau Kevin after the couple enjoyed their first Christmas together.

The documentary filmmaker is often abroad for work commitments and she recently shared a video of the view from her seat on an aeroplane with her 807,000 followers.

The TV personality filmed the picturesque sunset out of the window and captioned the clip: “Back to work then…”

Later, Stacey revealed the destination of her trip, as her plane prepared to land in Bogotá, the Capital of Colombia.

While posting a video of the city from above, she added the caption: “Bogotá,” alongside a red heart emoji.
