The two end up together with a baby on the way but the very last line of the show finds Joe setting his eyes on who is assumed to be his next victim.
With how quickly both season one and two were gobbled up by Netflix fans (with the second installment being released just one week ago), it was a no brainer that the streaming giant will be giving us more Joe and Love.
Although Netflix hasn’t made an official announcement, there are rumors of a multi-million dollar tax credit given to the company for another season if they choose to do so.
Additionally, in a recent interview, Penn Badgley spilled the beans.
‘There’s something to the fact that men behave the way they do, and women tend to not do the same thing. So what is that? I don’t know, but I feel like that’s what we see is that she doesn’t appear to be the same kind of person; she doesn’t appear to be the same kind of predator… Dare I say, I think in the third season..’
Penn stopped mid-sentence and started to back peddle while speaking with Entertainment Tonight.
Meanwhile, just as Penn didn’t want viewers to romanticize anything about his creepy yet hot character — Victoria Pedretti doesn’t want viewers to adore her on-screen boyfriend either.
The newcomer gave a graphic warning to Vogue when she said: ‘People are going to say dumb shit. I don’t truly believe that people want to sleep with a serial killer. It’s just that Penn Badgley is not actually a serial killer, he’s a sweet man. Don’t pursue serial killers. And also, nobody has sex the first time and comes simultaneously in five seconds. So, don’t base your ideas about what sex will be like from television.’
