Man Utd losing to Arsenal shows Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has to drop one player

Back in the summer, United were faced with the threat of losing De Gea.

Despite costly errors last season against the likes of Barcelona, Cardiff, Chelsea and Manchester City, the Red Devils wanted to keep their star man.

De Gea, for his part, was in two minds. He wanted guarantees that United were going to challenge for silverware under Solskjaer amid interest from European titans Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.

Eventually, the Spain international signed on the dotted line.

Despite those errors last season, it seemed like United had managed to keep the 29-year-ld at Old Trafford against all odds. Solskjaer, definitely, regarded it as a major coup.

But it’s now apparent that De Gea is no longer the pick of the bunch when it comes to goalkeepers in world football.
