In upcoming scenes, Harriet will be told by the Bishop that he might be closing the church and she might have to move to Essex.
Will is stunned when he hears the news but appears to hatch a plan when Harriet tells him it’s going to be a struggle to collect the money needed for church repairs.
Later, Harriet is crestfallen when she discovers the church as been robbed and is certain she will have to leave the village.
But Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) soon finds a bundle of cash in her fundraising basket and delivers the good news to Harriet.
