Kelly Clarkson Gets Candid About Her Sex Life With Husband Brandon Blackstock During ‘Ask Me Anything’ Segment On Her Talk Show

Kelly Clarkson often jokes about how much she likes to talk. So it was no surprise that during a recent digital-only “Ask Me Anything” segment on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the 37-year-old did a lot of talking and got extremely candid about her sex life with husband, Brandon Blackstock.

The segment featured Season 14 winner of The Voice Brynn Cartelli asking her former coach: “What is the last thing you do before you go to bed every night?” She then followed up by asking if there was one thing Clarkson always does before going to bed.

The question sparked some serious laughter from Clarkson and the 16-year-old Cartelli started to realize that maybe she didn’t want to know the answer. However, it was too late because Clarkson was ready to share.

“Well, Brynn, I was single for many years. So, I have children [now], and how one makes children is generally what I do before bed. That’s not a lie, that’s real! And it’s not weird, it’s natural,” said Clarkson, to which Cartelli replied, “And this is why American loves you.”

The American Idol Season 1 winner started dating Blackstock – who is the former stepson of Reba McEntire – back in 2012, and they tied the knot in a Tennessee ceremony the following year.

The couple share two children – a five-year-old daughter named River and a three-year-old son named Remy. And, Clarkson is also the stepmom of his two children from his marriage to Melissa Ashworth, 17-year-old Savannah and 12-year-old Seth.

Back in 2017, Clarkson told Redbook that anytime she and Brandon are in a discussion about sex with a bunch of couples, they stay pretty quiet. But, she did reveal that they are “more active than other couples.” The Because of You singer added that she is a person who loves change and he loves spontaneity, so having a set time or place to get busy would be boring for them.

Clarkson also explained during that interview that when she met Blackstock she was looking for a lover, not a friend. She said that she had never found someone who she was truly passionate about, and who she wanted to stay in bed with all day. Once she met Blackstock, she decided she was going to “latch on and take advantage of that.”
