The singer has a brand new tattoo and it has a lot of meaning for her personal experience. Demi Lovato seems to be searching for ‘rebirth’ in the new year and to remind herself of it, she received some ink art that signifies just that.
In fact, Demi has been getting quite a lot of permanent body art lately so her latest piece is no surprise.
It is stunning, though! The performer now has a dramatic, meaningful image of an angel getting carried by doves on her back, just between her shoulder blades.
Artist Alessandro Capozzi, who created the masterpiece, took to social media to share an image of the ink job, writing alongside it: ‘For the incredible @ddlovato 💖 Divine Feminine ✨ Destruction Effect . We created the piece together in order to represent a rebirth of the spirit. The dark wings mean the bad times, their fading away is how she [Demi] moved forward. The light from within represents her inner strength necessary for the change and the doves, which are pulling her up, symbolize the reach of a higher state of consciousness. Congratulations on your inspiring journey Demi, honored to have represented this for you.’
Such a deep and inspirational piece of art that Demi will definitely treasure and show off proudly for the rest of her life.
Demi, who has been on a break from social media, pressed pause on her hiatus to comment under the pic: ‘Thank you so much 🙌🏼 it’s incredible and you are so extremely talented 😊💕.’
The new tattoo comes after she also got a simpler but just as meaningful one on her neck – a writing piece reading ‘survivor.’
It was done earlier this month by well-known celeb tattoo artist Dr. Woo.
