Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague celebrate victory in boxing return after Love Island

Tommy Fury celebrated a victory with girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague on his return to boxing following Love Island. Tyson Fury’s younger brother Tommy returned to the ring last night and beat Przemyslaw Binienda with a first round knockout.

Fury, now 3-0, saw off the Pole in one minute and two seconds at London’s Copperbox.

The fight was on the undercard for Daniel Dubois’ WBO International and WBC Silver heavyweight fight against Japan’s Kyotaro Fujimoto.

Dubois won that one with ease, as did Fury in his bout to extend Binienda’s record to 26 straight professional losses.

And following the battle Molly-Mae, who he met on Love Island, posted an image on Instagram with the caption: ‘MY CHAMP❤️’

And Fury was delighted speaking to Bt Sport afterwards, he said: “It feels absolutely amazing. Thank you for all these fans who turned out.

“I wasn’t looking for a knockout at all, I was going to box to a game plan.

“I would not be here without this man to my left, my dad. It’s father and son and we are going to the top.

“This year I have gained a lovely soulmate in Molly and I’ve ended the year on a big knockout. More of the same in 2020.”

Fury had worked with his brother Tyson in the build up and looked a step above his opponent.

Undefeated Dubois, 22, meanwhile is emerging as a potential opponent for Anthony Joshua after another victory takes his record to 14-0 with 13 wins by knockout.

“I landed a sweet shot and that was goodnight,” said Dubois.

“I just thought after the first couple of shots I had to pace myself and let him come to me. I knew I had the power and was really confident in what I was going to do.”
