Apple’s smartwatch, the Apple Watch, is the most popular timepiece on the planet – and with price drops at Currys and Amazon, it’s now even easier to get your hands on one in time for Christmas.
There are multiple versions discounted, but we’re most impressed by the Apple Watch Series 5 with 40mm display – which is down to just £379 at Currys (a saving of £20). That may not sound like the steepest discount, but considering the device only launched in September of this year, you can get it for less than some versions of the older Series 4.
If you want to go for a slightly larger screen, there’s £20 off of the larger 44mm versions too – bringing those down to £409.
The Apple Watch Series 5 is packed with tech, featuring the first always-on display in an Apple smartwatch and the ability to take an electrocardiogram. If you’re not too fussed about having the latest Apple Watch then you’re in luck. The Series 3 is an excellent entry-level smartwatch for iOS users, and it’s now down to just £199. If you’re looking for something in between the Series 3 and Series 5, the obvious solution is the Series 4. Compared to the Series 3 you get a larger screen, the electrocardiogram functionality, and safety features like fall detection. Unlike the Series 5, you don’t get an always-on display, but it’s been reduced to just £319 which saves you £60.
