Many of Piers’ followers weren’t happy he bragged about how much he spent on the evening with one person commenting: “As a teacher who works incredibly hard, just like to point out that it takes me nearly 3 months to earn what you are clearly so proud of spending on 1 bottle of Bollinger. Just putting that out there Piers.”
Piers replied: “It was 60 bottles, so unless it takes you three months to earn £70, relax.”
The ITV presenter also wrote back to a social media user who stated: “I had my works night out last week. Tenner in the kitty and that lasted all night. This is obscene.”
