Reported first by USA Today, the outlet claims Taylor Swift became emotional when she first heard the new music of Selena Gomez. During a conversation with the United Kingdom’s radio station, Kiss FM, the 27-year-old told her story regarding the song, “Lose You To Love Me,” in addition to “Look At Her Now.”
Gomez said to the radio host that it was one of the greatest experiences for her because she has known Taylor for more than ten years, including her family. The star stated that Taylor and her mother started crying when she played the songs for her.
According to Gomez, Taylor and her mother were on the same journey with her “intimately.” The singer went on to say they were so proud of her for entering a new part of her life, which didn’t include the supposed abuse she endured.
Reportedly, the song, or at least as fans believe, is about her former romance with Justin Bieber which left her in a vulnerable and hurt position. Fans of hers have acknowledged the purported connection to Justin Bieber.

Furthermore, the track reportedly features a number of references and subtle insinuations regarding her relationship with Justin. Fans of the couple know that Justin and Selena have had a long history with each other, including when they showed up to the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscars after-party.
