Former Flipping Out star Jeff Lewis is ready to take a big step in his relationship with Scott Anderson. After nine months of dating, Lewis says that he is ready to tie the knot. The news is a surprise to many fans because Lewis was in a relationship for ten years with his former partner and Flipping Out co-star Gage Edward, but the couple never wed – or even talked about marriage.
During a recent episode of his SiriusXM radio show Jeff Lewis Live, Lewis told his guest and Bravo boss Andy Cohen that he gets along well with “the new guy” – who he met through Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger – and it’s “really nice.”
‘I got to put a ring on it. I’m going to have to put a ring on it,” said Lewis.
Cohen was also surprised by Lewis’ statement, asking, “Really? You’re ready to get married.” And, Lewis replied, “I would consider putting a ring on it.”
The Watch What Happens Live host continued to dig for details, stating that Lewis and Anderson have been together for less than a year. He also pointed out that Lewis never talked about getting engaged to Edward during their entire relationship.
The 49-year-old explained that there “was always some apprehension” when it came to getting engaged to Edward, and the couple ended up splitting back in January after a decade together. They continue to co-parent their two-year-old daughter Monroe Christine – who was born via surrogate – but their custody battle has gotten “ugly” in recent months.
On his radio show, Lewis has always been an open book when it comes to his life and relationships. And, he recently revealed that he was a “functioning alcoholic” after he turned to alcohol to get through his split from Edward.
Just two months after Lewis and Edward broke up, Lewis started dating Anderson. However, during the summer Lewis and Anderson took some time off from their relationship so Lewis could focus on his custody battle with Edward.
