Princess Beatrice chooses most expensive time of the year for royal wedding in Italy

Expert website Weddings Abroad Guide was founded to help lovers arrange their nuptials abroad.

It states: “If you are looking for complete exclusivity for part or all of your wedding day then your budget is going to be an important factor, if you haven’t done any research it’s unlikely you will know the cost of a wedding venue in Italy and what is included in the fee.”

The site goes on: “An exclusive country style venue with accommodation may come with a minimum stay of two or three days with a day rate of €3500 (£2,924.14).

“For large weddings a villa hotel with accommodation for 90 guests will have a day rate €9000. (£7,519.23)”

This is quite the price for one day.

What is more, Beatrice is planning her wedding at a time experts claim is one of the most expensive to get married in the country.

Travel and hotel expert Santorini Dave said: “From mid-May through July and again in September, the country will be teeming with visitors, and rates will be at their highest.”
