Paul asked people to make donations for the St Nicholas School in Croydon, where his autistic nephew Leo is “receiving superb care”.
He wrote: “Once the rebuild is finished the school is looking to use some of the reclaimed outdoor space to create a sensory garden, which can be used to stimulate and inspire pupils through touch, smell, sight, taste and hearing, as well as providing a space for calming, learning and enjoyment.
“So no sandwich toasters, crockery, or box sets of Mad Men for Olly and me, thanks. Please can we raise as much money as humanly possible to improve the lives of children with learning difficulties.”
