Melania Trump: FLOTUS guards Barron Trump as huge crowd cheers for son over President

Melania Trump, who is very protective of her young son, kept her distance from fans and the press. In the video shared on Twitter, the First Lady, Donald Trump and Barron appear at the bottom of the staircase to cheering crowds. While the US President is pulled away by aides to meet patiently waiting fans, Melania takes Barron in the opposite direction. The First Lady kept Barron away from cameras as they stood behind President Trump who posed for pictures.

Another added: “Oh my goodness, Baron has really gotten taller, and so handsome.”

While others reflected on Melania’s mothering as a third said: “I’ve always felt Melania is a very lovingly concerned mom.”

The clip emerges just days after the First Lady erupted in anger on social media amid the impeachment inquiry.

The First Lady is well-known for defending Barron.

During the impeachment inquiry hearing, Stanford Law School’s Pamela S. Karlan was asked to compare the fears of the framers of the US Constitution to President Trump’s behaviour and invoked his son, Barron, in her response.

An outraged Melania took to Twitter to vent her distaste at Ms Karlan’s comments.

The First Lady tweeted: “A minor child deserves privacy and should be kept out of politics.

“Pamela Karlan you should be ashamed of your very angry and obviously biased public pandering, and using a child to do it.”

Ms Kaplan later said: “I want to apologise for what I said earlier about the President’s son. It was wrong of me to do that.”
