I’m A Celebrity 2019: ‘I couldn’t turn away’ Stars shocked by camp intruder

Kate Garraway, Roman Kemp, Jacqueline Jossa and Andy Whyment have made it through to the final weekend in the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! jungle. All four celebrities tackled the Celebrity Cyclone in the latest instalment of the ITV show before heading back to camp and spotting an intruder making themselves at home and treating themselves to last night’s leftovers.

After completing the Celebrity Cyclone earlier in the day, the campmates took a minute to sunbathe in their hammocks.

As they did, they spotted a one-metre long goanna stroll into camp and poke his nose into the food waste bin.

The campmates decided to name him Lenny before Andy admitted he had forgotten to empty the bin the night before.

While the goanna rummaged in the bin and pulled out a piece of the previous night’s kangaroo tail, Roman began to impersonate David Attenborough and Ant McPartlin.

“Go on you’ve done it that’s a meal for camp, now all you’ve got to do is digest it,” joked the radio host.

The campmates watched on in horror as the reptile attempted to put the whole piece of tail in its mouth.

“I feel like I’m watching a scene from Jurassic Park,” Kate commented.

“He’s trying to eat it they can dislocate their jaw. I have never seen anything like that in my life.”

Earlier in the instalment, Kate, Jacqueline, Roman and Andy completed the Celebrity Cyclone.

Kate grabbed all four stars and made her way to the first star as she was blasted with water and balls.

When she got there Jacqueline set off, took three stars from Kate and headed off to her marker.

But the EastEnders star lost her footing, fell backwards and caused both her and Kate to fall back to the ball pit.

However, they both quickly made it to their markers before Roman set off and reached the second to last star.

Andy was just about to reach his marker when a torrential gush of water threw them all off into the ball pit except for Roman who managed to hold on.

They all dashed back and with seconds to spare completed the trial and won four meals for camp.

Elsewhere Kate fumed over last night’s double elimination.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs daily on ITV at 9pm.
