Jason Momoa was just being the friendly neighborhood Aquaman that we all needed when he warned fellow superhero, Chris Pratt, to stop using plastic water bottles. Unfortunately, the heads up caused an all-out war in the actor’s comment section.
In case you missed it, Chris shared a photo of himself where he is seen holding a plastic water bottle.
Jason, who is an activist as well as an actor, commented: ‘Bro I love you. No single use plastic. come on.’
Momoa has his own line of water that is distributed in cans in an effort to help the general population reduce, reuse, and recycle.
However, his simple comment caused mayhem with fans coming to slam the Parks and Rec star.

There were also some people standing up for the Guardians of the Galaxy star and fans started to argue.
Jason went back to the social media platform to apologize for the mess he indirectly made.
He shared a photo of himself and Pratt along with his two kids and accompanied the post with a caption that read: ‘@prattprattpratt BRO you know my children and I are madly in love with you and I love everything you do. I’m sorry this was received so badly today I didn’t mean for that to happen. I’m just very passionate about this single use plastic epidemic. the plastic water bottles have to stop i hope u make a reusable water bottle for amazon so we all can purchase. You’re an inspiration to many I’m one of them. I’ll send you a case of MANANALU. All my Aloha, Da Momoa’s’
There is no love lost between the peers because Chris responded with an apology of his own.
‘Aquaman! You’re completely right. Da****. I always carry my big gallon size reusable water jug with me too. I even had it that day!!! If I remember correctly somebody threw that plastic bottle to me in the photo shoot cause I didn’t know what to do with my hands. Love you too buddy. My bad. I don’t want your home of Atlantis covered in plastic. Hear that kids? Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.’
