Arsenal star Mesut Ozil involved in angry spat as he storms down the tunnel after Brighton

Arsenal entered the game on a torrid run of eight games without a win. And, at the Emirates on Thursday night, Brighton inflicted another defeat on Unai Emery’s struggling side.

Brighton took the lead through Webster in the first half before Alexandre Lacazette levelled for the Gunners.

Arsenal never looked like claiming all three points, however, with Maupay then giving Brighton a deserved lead and, in the end, a vital three points.

Ozil was picked by Freddie Ljungberg for the second consecutive game.

But the Germany international was unable to make an impact.
