Dan Walker: BBC host in tribute to ‘funny, kind and warm’ Clive James following his death

An inquest into his death at the time determined that he had taken his own life.

Football presenter Dan, also paid his respects in a sweet accompanied by an infamous photo of the sporting legend.

“Can’t believe it’s been 8 years since Gary Speed died. I will never forget that day.

Thinking of his family today,” he said.

Fans struggled to come to terms with how long it had been since the tragic event, and posted well wishes to his family to commemorate his death.
