Outlander viewers were devastated last season when Brianna Fraser (played by Sophie Skelton) returned to the past, pregnant with her rapist’s baby. This event brought a number of issues to the table – mostly with Roger MacKenzie (Richard Rankin), who was not sure if he would keep his wife’s baby.
This harrowing turn of events in turn lead to some harsh words being said.
Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe) were not happy to hear Roger had abandoned his wife – their daughter – and told him how they felt.
Furious, father Jamie beat Roger over the tale, and even told him to leave the timeline to redeem himself.
Despite all of this drama, the Fraser clan were left whole again in the final episode, as Roger returned to be with Brianna, and their new child.

Recently, the official Outlander Twitter account has been posting images of the show’s fifth season.
Today the account posted an intimate image of Jamie and Claire laying in the grass while staring straight into the camera.
The image was captioned: “HELLLLO, Frasers. #Outlander.”
Although the duo look extremely peaceful, could the pair instead be trying to get away from something?
A previous photo saw a solemn looking Claire and Jamie in their house alongside Brianna and Roger.
As the four adults are now living with a baby in a relatively small shack, could this image be of Jamie and Claire attempting to get away from the hectic house?
And if so, will they instead be looking for a way to split up the houses, so they can get some peace and quiet once again?
Fans of the couple commented on the photo, with one writing: “Can I just wish for 12 episodes of the Frasers enjoying some quiet downtime in the grass together…? These two are PERFECT!!”
Another said: “Wow! Positively gorgeous photography… and you two complete each other. Waiting with some patience, for Season five #Outlander.”
One thing is for sure, the show’s upcoming episodes will be packed with a number of tragic events, and dramatic goings-on.
However that won’t stop the team from taking on a sixth season, as recently revealed by Claire star Caitriona.
During a Q&A earlier this month the actor was asked when the show will begin filming season six.
