Chelsea star Tammy Abraham leaves on stretcher in tears after suffering injury

Chelsea star Tammy Abraham was taken off on a stretcher during the Blues’ Champions League clash against Valencia. The England international was also left in tears after a heavy fall. Abraham went up for a header with Valencia defender Ezequiel Garay late into the first half.

The Chelsea striker was pulled down and landed awkwardly on Garay.

Abraham, who has been sensational for the Blues under Frank Lampard this season, limped off the pitch but was clearly distressed.

Chelsea medical staff then called for a stretcher for the forward, who was in tears after the fall.

Abraham was carried out of the stadium after being wrapped in blankets. He was taken straight to hospital with a suspected internal injury.
