Kawhi Leonard mocked by Clippers team-mate Lou Williams with classic impersonation

Even Kawhi Leonard’s team-mates have begun trolling the reigning NBA Finals MVP over his now viral video.

While Leonard is one of the greatest NBA players in the league right now, he has also gained fan stardom for off the court reasons.

Last year when he was traded to the Toronto Raptors, a video of him laughing at media day soon went viral.

And he soon found himself at the centre of another fan frenzy after addressing the crowd during opening night of the season.

Grabbing the microphone to speak to Clippers fans for the first time since joining in free agency, his first words were: “Hey, hey, hey.”

The clip was soon picked up on social media and immediately turned into one of the most popular NBA memes.

Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Darius Bazley soon gave a shot at impersonating the famous clip.

And now Clippers star Williams has also imitated Leonard’s now infamous line.

Taking the microphone to speak before the game against the New Orleans Pelicans, Williams blurted out ‘Hey, hey, hey’ before bursting into laughter.

When asked whether he had planned the Leonard impersonation, Williams said: “Nah, I just walked up and did it.

“Just having some fun.”

However, Leonard admits he didn’t even notice Williams’ attempt at copying his intro.

“I didn’t even pay attention to it,” he said.

“I really didn’t hear it. I think at that point we was walking to the bench or listening to Doc so I didn’t hear the impersonation.”
