Sainsbury’s and Aldi urgent food recall issued over undeclared allergens

Aldi’s British Breaded Chicken Steaks

The discount supermarket chain, Aldi, has also issued an urgent food warning to those with allergies.

The Food Standard Agency website said: “Aldi is recalling Ashfield Farm British Breaded Chicken Steaks because they contain milk which is not mentioned on the label.”

The product has been incorrectly packaged with Breaded Chicken Kievs which contain milk.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

The error has occurred on the pack size 505 grams and with batch codes 29 Nov.
