Google Maps: Two men caught in unfortunate scenario in Miami

Google Maps Street View was initially developed to help people find their way around unfamiliar locations. In recent years, though, the application is being used more and more frequently to spot bizarre happenings unfolding across the globe. Users often search the streets of the world and share their findings online. One user recently came across to men who had been caught in an unfortunate situation by Google’s cameras.

The scene unfolds in the neighbourhood of Overtown in Miami.

On a fairly normal-looking residential street in the heart of the neighbourhood, something unexpected has caused two men to exert themselves.

The street is lined with what appear to be apartment buildings, along with fences, patches of greenery and trees.

The incident in question is unfolding just in front of an eye-catching pink building, its style and colour typical of Miami architecture.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remains anonymous.

Though the door of the car is left ajar, only a small peek of the back of the driver can be seen.

On the sidewalk beside the scene also appears to be a container of oil, presumably part of the operation to get the vehicle on its way.

While little is known about how this situation came to be, the two men lending a hand are seemingly a set of good samaritans.

The user who found the scene posted it to Reddit with the caption: “Push that car boys”.

This is not the first time an eagle-eyed viewer has spotted an unexpected sighting while surveying the streets.

Elsewhere in the world, a young girl was snapped as she took a tumble in front of her friends.

As the young girl gathers herself on the ground, apparently not too hurt, three friends seem to gather around her laughing.

She doesn’t appear too distressed, suggesting this was a minor tumble, and her ego is likely to be more bruised.

However, even if her friends do eventually forget the scenario, it seems Google simply won’t allow her to forget it for too long.

The Google Street View camera must have been zipping past right at that moment, snapping the moment she fell to the ground and incorporating it into its virtual map.

Luckily, as per Google’s privacy policy insisting all people on Street View have their face’s blurred, the young girl remains safely anonymous.
