Tottenham transfer target Ricardo Pereira is delighted to see Jose Mourinho back in the Premier League.
Spurs made a bold decision this week in sacking Mauricio Pochettino, replacing him with Mourinho.
It marks Mourinho’s fourth managerial stint in England following his two with Chelsea and most recent with Manchester United.
Speculation has already begun on who he could target in the January transfer window, with the need for a right-back still highlighted after the club failed to replace Kieran Tripper in the summer.
Leicester City’s Pereira had been linked with a move to White Hart Lane long before Mourinho’s arrival.

And the Portuguese right-back has sparked further speculation by speaking of his delight to see his compatriot return to the English top flight.
“He’s been missed,” Ricardo told Portuguese publication Record.
“He’s one of the best coaches in the world.
“It’s always good for us Portuguese people to get back to work here in England.
“He’s one of the big names in Portuguese football.
“He’ll be able to show his value again, he’ll be back in the spotlight. It’s more of a challenge for him.
“The league is very balanced. The points difference between 14th and 5th place is quite short.
“In addition, there’s a lot of competition still to come.
“Therefore, he has more than enough time and conditions to succeed.”
Mourinho will take charge of his first Tottenham game today when they travel to face West Ham (12.30pm).
