The jungle has been put on lock down as it emerged a vicious killer is on the loose in the area surrounding the celebrities’ camp. Local police have launched a huge manhunt this week after a 50-year-old man was found dead in Jack Evans Boat Harbour, Tweed Heads in New South Wales.
The area is near the Queensland-New South Wales border and is just 30 minutes from Murwillumbah where I’m A Celebrity is being filmed for ITV.
Sources have said that the show bosses have now made sure that their security measures are impenetrable.
One source said: “The celebs are being watched 24 hours a day, seven days a week by a team of staff and our security measures are incredibly tight.
“So there is zero chance of anyone sneaking into camp.

The body was found just along the Gold Coast from the I’m A Celeb jungle.
Surrounding areas include Brisbane and Sydney.
It comes as I’m A Celeb’s Kate Garraway turned on fellow campmate Andrew Maxwell over some bananas.

This led to an enraged outburst by Kate Garraway who snapped at Andrew Maxwell when he suggested throwing away the fruit.
The argument came as those in Jailhouse Camp were getting themselves ready for the day which included breakfast.
Andrew had decided that they should eat banana rice which Kate said was a “fabulous” idea.
When Kate went over to the food box, she discovered that it was infested with ants which is when she snapped at Andrew.
She told Andrew who said, “Well get the bananas out then!”
Kate snapped back: “Alright! It’s an emergency, get the bananas out!”
