Best royal teeth revealed: Does Harry, William, Kate or Meghan have the best smile?

Prince Harry has been revealed to have the best teeth of the Royal Family, according to expert dentists. The Duke of Sussex was lucky enough to have a brace as a child.

He suggests Kate has had her teeth whitened.

He added: “The subtle whitening that she has is just the right amount for the ever so slightly whiter end of naturally white looking teeth. So not perfect but a very aesthetically pleasing smile.”

How does Meghan Markle’s smile compare?

Matthew said: “We have seen some requests for the Meghan Markle smile which is whiter, more American and stand out but far less natural looking than Kate’s.

“Meghan’s teeth look a little unnatural, she has possibly recently had orthodontics (brace) and lots of bleaching.

“Sometimes in post ortho cases teeth can look at little ‘splayed’ and along with the rounded incisal edges that she has, they just don’t look as natural as Kate’s. Kate’s smile is more likely to be the one that will always be in demand.”

Prince William’s teeth have been subject to some cosmetic work after he lost a tooth at a party.

In 2014 the Mail on Sunday reported how William’s tooth was knocked out at a society wedding.

An insider source told the publication: “The prince lost part of one of his front teeth while fooling around with his close pal Tom Inskip during a high society wedding.”

Matthew Rose Restorative Dentist at the Implant Centre Hove & Hayward’s Heath said: “Prince William in photos pre-2014 show the upper front teeth to be similar in colour.

“However post-2014 when it was rumoured that he lost a tooth, the upper right central incisor (UR1) looks lighter, and more aligned – as do the upper lateral incisors.

“It looks to me as if these teeth have been either crowned or veneered.”
