Melania Trump braved the near freezing temperatures in Washington with bare legs and black Christian Louboutin heels. But the First Lady was savaged by social media users for continuing to wear the coat indoors while she had lunch with Emine Erdogan. Mrs Erdogan wore all white and dined with FLOTUS in the White House’s Green room.
Twitter users reacted savagely to Melania wearing a coat indoors.
One said: “Why is Melania wearing a coat? Is the heat out?”
Another added: “Trump didn’t pay the bill.”
A third person hit out at the outfit and said: “Melania wearing a coat in the dining room? Can’t we afford adequate heat in the White House?”

On Thursday, Mrs Erdogan praised Melania’s hospitality.
She wrote on Twitter: “We had a pleasant conversation with First Lady Melania Trump during our visit to the White House, exchanging ideas about the social responsibility projects we are conducting in our respective countries.
“Thank you for being such a wonderful host.”
It comes as Melania was attacked on social media after she reportedly broke military protocol on Veterans Day.
After the footage being posted on social media, many were quick to put the spotlight onto the First Lady to highlight her lack of hand placement.
One person posted on Twitter: “Melania Trump did NOT put her hand over her heart during the national anthem, on VETERANS DAY!”
Kathy Zambrano said on Twitter: “She didn’t even didn’t even put her hand over her heart yesterday during the national anthem.”
Nicole Hickman asked the First Lady: “Why didn’t you put your hand over your heart? Don’t you care about out veterans?”
