Escaped handball in sixth minute and played a brilliant cross field pass in the move for second goal.

Powerful runs forward unsettled City.

Powerful in the air and marshalled the rearguard well late on.

LB: Andrew Robertson – 7

Unsettled by Silva early but provided a fantastic assist for Salah goal.

Pinned back by Sterling as the match went on.

Stunning strike for opener and involved in several key moments, with the only blot how he was brushed off by De Bruyne for City’s opener.

Excellent display before subbed on the hour mark.

CM: Georginio Wijnaldum – 7

Huge shift in midfield from the Dutchman, who did the quiet stuff well with skill and power.

RAM: Mohamed Salah – 8

Perfect timing to get on the end of sweeping move for second. Faded slightly as the game went on.

LAM: Sadio Mane – 8

Good defensive shift early and grew into the game offensively with a great far-post header for the third.

ST: Roberto Firmino – 7

Some excellent linking touches and carved out a good chance on 35 minutes but struck miles over.

SUB: James Milner (on for Henderson, 61 mins) – 6

Helped close the game out.

SUB: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (on for 79 mins) – 5

Added energy.
