KSI vs Logan Paul free live stream WARNING: You may be at risk as online dangers EXPOSED

After months of trash talking, KSI and Logan Paul will finally settle the score in the ring tonight. The duo fought it out in the UK last year with both having to settle for a majority draw.

Combined, both YouTube sensations have a subscriber count tallying over 40 million. And fans will certainly be out in full force as the pair take to the Staples Centre in Los Angeles for their pro boxing fight. This time there’s no headgear and each fighter will be using 10-ounce gloves.

KSI vs Logan Paul 2 will be shown on Sky Sports Box Office for £9.95 in the UK while those in the US can catch the fight on subscription service DAZN.

But, like most pay-per-view events, there seems to be numerous unofficial channels that are promising fans coverage for free.

YouTube channels are already popping up claiming they’ll be showing the fight in full from midnight tonight.

While many of these are advertised as free, some are asking for payment via PayPal to support their videos.

If you’re a fan of KSI or Logan Paul, you should be aware these videos are likely to be unofficial and will most likely be removed once both sensations get into the ring.

External links online may also look tempting, but they could lead you to malware-filled websites that can easily infect your PC if it’s unprotected.

According to a study published in 2016, people viewing illegal streams online are putting themselves at huge risk.

Of the thousands of online videos studied, researchers said that as many as half planted malicious software on the users’ machine.

These often come through forced ads and other highly deceptive techniques.

As well as malicious pop-ups, the team at the Department of Computer Science, Stony Brook University, said they observed an increase in sites demanding users install browser plug-ins in order to watch a free stream.

Thinking of catching the slugfest on social media instead? That could also land you into trouble.

Alerts have been issued in the past to individuals live streaming events themselves over services such as Twitter or Facebook live.

The consequences can be severe and big fines have been paid in recent months.

Back in 2017, Yusuf Mohammed of Bristol was ordered to pay legal costs of over £16,000 and to disclose details about the money he made and people he colluded with for re-streaming Sky Sports content online illegally.

As well as the costs, Mr Mohammed had to pay Sky damages.

Another person was also ordered to pay substantial legal costs for sharing the Joshua vs Klitschko fight on Facebook.

Thousands of individuals enjoyed the boxing match via a live stream for free which was viewed by some 4,250 people at its peak.

This was eventually traced back to the Sky account holder, Craig Foster, of Scarborough.

He says one of his friends live streamed the fight using an iPad, which was already logged into his Facebook account.

He has agreed to pay £5,000 in legal costs to Sky.

Although it’s unclear if tonight’s highly anticipated clash will attract the same penalties for illegal streaming of the event, KSI himself has told his viewers how to watch the fight legally.

Coverage for KSI vs Logan Paul 2 will start at midnight, but the pair aren’t expected to touch gloves until 4am GMT on Sunday (8pm Saturday in LA).
