The actress took to social media to properly introduce her new baby girl to the world! Shay Mitchell revealed her bundle of joy’s name earlier today and it’s really special – Atlas!
It’s been weeks since Shay revealed she’d given birth and now she also finally told her many followers the moniker she and her life partner have chosen for the baby girl.
The Pretty Little Liars star also posted an adorable first snap of the infant’s cute face.
Before this post, she had only posted some sneak peeks at her child but now, her fans were able to see her little face in all her glory and were obviously excited to meet Atlas!
Alongside the sweet pic, the proud mother wrote: ‘Atlas Noa, In my 32 years of life I thought I’d seen a lot of places, experienced many things, met a lot of people and also felt love…then came you. Truth is I’d no idea I was capable of loving anything like this before your arrival. You wonder if that is just something people say, but it is as if the chemical makeup of my whole body and soul changed the minute that we met. I wake up every day (and also every 2, 3 hours 😉 still in awe you are mine, and I’m yours.’
‘I’m still learning about you and I will never grow old of watching you wake up, catch a glimpse of me or your dad and focus intently as if to say ‘I know you.’ Just know, sweet girl – Whatever you choose to do in the world, whoever you choose to love, wherever you choose to go, I’ll always be your biggest fan. I’m already so proud to be your Mama. PS. The days of dressing you up like burritos and other snacks have only just begun,’ she went on in her touching letter.

The star previously revealed that one friend suggested the name over a year and a half ago.
That being said, every time people would ask if they’d picked a moniker, Shay admitted she’d just lie and say they did not.
Obviously, they liked ‘Atlas’ so much that it was already decided a long time ago but she just wanted to keep it a surprise until after the baby girl was born!
