Darren Till tattoo: Who is the woman tattoed on UFC 244 star’s arm?

Darren Till’s most prominent tattoo has been the subject of debate amongst UFC fans for a number of years now.

On the upper portion of his left arm, the former welterweight title challenger has a tattoo of a blonde woman smiling.

Immediately after seeing his ink, fight fans began asking themselves one question: Who is the woman on his arm?

After Till made his debut at UFC Fight Night 67 – where he KO’d Wendell de Oliveira – some jokingly suggested his tatt was of strawweight standout Paige VanZant.

That notion amused Till, who soon revealed the woman in question was his ex-girlfriend – who happens to be the mother of his first child.

“No, it’s not,” Till told MMA Fighting when asked if his tattoo was of VanZant. “It’s my girl.

“It was a surprise for her birthday. I don’t know what I was thinking? “I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m going to do something different. I’m going to get a tattoo of her face.

“This is my tattoo (he said while lifting up his sleeve). It’s not Paige VanZant. I don’t even know who that is.”

He added: “As I’ve told you about my girl, she’s next to none other. So every time I fight, she fights too. And she gets beat up with me, do you know what I mean?

“So if she’s p*****g me off, I just go to the gym and let some guys punch me (laughs).”

Till returns to the Octagon early on Sunday morning in the co-main event of UFC 244 at Madison Square Garden in New York, where he’ll make his middleweight debut.

The Liverpudlian will lock horns with former interim 185lb title challenger Kelvin Gastelum, who will be looking to hand the 26-year-old his third defeat on the bounce.
