What is The Morning Show about?

The Morning Show is inspired by journalist Brian Stelter’s book Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV.

The series follows the story of news anchor Mitch Kessler (played by Steve Carell), who is fired from his presenting role amidst a sexual misconduct case.

Kessler’s co-host is Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) whose job is at risk without her co-star feels threatened by new reporter Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon).
