James Corden revealed what happened when he “was a little drunk” and approached First Daughter Ivanka Trump at an event. The two were attending a wedding for mutual friend, fashion designer Misha Nonoo. During a segment of his US talkshow, the Late, Late Show, the Gavin and Stacey star was forced to share the embarrassing story.
He said: “I was a little drunk and I was with Orlando Bloom who I think was equally, if not slightly less drunk than I was.
“We were stood at the bar and Ivanka was also at the bar.
“I can’t 100 percent remember it.
“But I remember that we were quite drunk and we started going, ‘Ivanka, you can do something, you can do something’.”

He added: “’You can make a difference, you can make a difference, you can make it better’.”
According to Mr Corden, the President’s daughter replied: “I’m trying. I’m trying.”
The TV host’s story sent the audience erupting into laughter, before he carried on.
He said: “And then the night carried on, I kept drinking.”
Ms Trump faced major backlash recently for her first public reaction to the impeachment inquiry against her father.
She said: “I think everything’s a question of priorities.
“We have our priorities in the White House.
“We’re fighting every day for the American worker.”
“We’re fighting every day to improve the quality of life for every single person in this country and we’re delivering in that fight and on that promise.”
