Selena Gomez may be Okay now and even ready to find love two years after her breakup from Justin Bieber but it sounds like she really went through a lot at the time! As you know, the songstress has just released a new ballad, the lyrics of which seem to talk about Justin and their split, even though she doesn’t drop any names!
That being said, now she is revealing even more about her heartbreak!
The two were together for no less than 8 years, although on and off!
However, when they split for good in March of 2018, it only took Justin a couple of months to reunite with Hailey Baldwin and later marry her!
While a guest on SiriusXM, Selena admitted that the song was inspired by a lot of pain in her life.
‘I wrote ‘Lose You To Love Me’ in the beginning of the year. We were in L.A. and I was just going to go in the studio for a session, I wasn’t quite sure what was going to come of it, and within two hours, even an hour, we basically wrapped up the song. I mean a lot of pain went behind the song but it ended up being something that is beautiful,’ she dished.
Previously, she also revealed, while on the Zach Sang Show, that she would like if Justin listened to her new songs.

‘Yeah, I do [want Justin to listen.] And here is the whole point: being able to say something on your own, and say something that actually is beautiful. For me, my intentions are not evil. I don’t even know how to do that. My intentions can be a little bit snappy but I want to come from a place that is genuine, and when I feel like things have not been said, then, I get to turn things into art.’
