England have reportedly been fined a four-figure sum for their V-shaped formation when facing the haka before their Rugby World Cup clash.
England accepted the challenge of the haka by lining up across the pitch in a V formation.
World Rugby regulations state opponents must stay in their own half while the war dance is being performed, however England’s players edged into the All Blacks’ territory.
And the Guardian now report that England have been reprimanded for their action, being handed a fine.
England went on to beat New Zealand to reach their first World Cup final since 2007.

It was a super performance against New Zealand though, starting with the show against the haka.
England captain Owen Farrell said: “We wanted not to just stand there and let them come at us.”
The Guardian add that England’s fine is less than France received when they adopted a similar formation back in 2011.
On that occasion, the majority of the French players advanced beyond the halfway and France were fined £2,500.
England inflicted New Zealand’s first World Cup defeat since 2007 with Manu Tuilagi opening the scoring with a try within two minutes.
Mako Vunipola added: “We talked about it as a team but everything has to get past the boss. He gave us the idea. We wanted to be respectful but we wanted to also make sure that they understood that we would be ready for the fight.
“We knew it would rile them up, it probably felt like we disrespected them.”
