Susan Boyle: 'Nothing you've seen before' BGT star addresses move with former winner

Britain’s Got Talent 2011 winner Jai McDowall, 33, has joined 2009 runner-up Susan Boyle, 58, on her nationwide The Ten tour which kicks off in March next year.

Speaking of sharing the stage with the former champion, Susan has promised fans her performances will be “nothing you’ve seen before”.

She told Press Association: “I was looking forward to my tour, but getting into the studio and rehearsing and coming up with exciting new material and suggestions, I can’t wait to get back on that stage.

“I’m also looking forward to Jai joining as well. This will be an all-new show, like nothing you’ve seen me do before.”

“I’m also looking forward to Jai joining as well. This will be an all-new show, like nothing you’ve seen me do before.”

Jai added: “After a very successful first rehearsal with Susan I am beyond excited to start the tour it’s going to be incredible and the fans are in for a real treat.

“Can’t wait to hit the road in March 2020.”

In rehearsal pictures today, the Britain’s Got Talent runner-up sported a vibrant pink suit jacket, jeans and a white top which featured lace inserts.

The duo appeared in high spirit as they beamed for the cameras while stood in a studio.

Susan will be taken her first tour in four years across 15 cities nationwide from March.

The singer took a break from the career before returning to the spotlight earlier this year.

Back in January, Susan returned to the stage on America’s Got Talent: The Champions, where she was awarded Mel B’s golden buzzer.

Despite her efforts, 22-year-old vocalist Kodi Lee was crowned the champion.

Also this year, Susan released her brand new album Ten, which celebrates her decade-long in the industry.

Earlier this month, Susan Boyle told fans she will be returning to the stage for a “worthwhile cause”.

The Scottish native informed her 34,000 Twitter followers she will be performing a Christmas concert at the Vatican in December.

In a clip shared with her social media fans, she said: “Hi there. It’s Susan Boyle here and I’m very thrilled to be able to tell you that I’ll be performing at the Vatican Christmas concert in December.

“It’s for a very worthwhile cause. Hope to see you there.”

The post was captioned: “Susan will be performing at the Vatican Christmas concert in December. Be sure to get your tickets.”

Many of her fans flocked to her page to comment on the news, with one writing: This sounds wonderful! Wish I could go!

“I hope you will film your entire performance to share with us.”

Another person said: “Fantastic! So happy for you! Good luck.”
