Gemma Atkinson, 34, and Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka Marquez, 29, recently welcomed their daughter Mia earlier this year. The former Emmerdale actress seemingly appeared to drop a hint about getting married as she pointed out wedding venues to her beau during their latest self-titled YouTube series. In the video clip, Gemma can be seen in the driver’s seat as she pointed out the wedding venue she spotted. “Oh look at that wedding overlooking the lake,” she gushed.
The Strictly star seemingly appeared taken aback by her remark as he quizzed Gemma on whether the moment was a proposal.
“Are you asking me to get married or what?” Gorka asked.
Gemma shook her head, and replied: “No.”
The Spanish hunk appeared to divert the conversation away from the discussion of marriage as he quipped: “Oh look at that dog in the window?” followed by a slight chuckle.
Gorka then added: “A resting b***h face, like me.”
Gemma joined in, saying: “Oh it’s a little spaniel doggy having a fit.”
She too appeared to steer the conversation away from wedding plans, before adding: “So this is the lake down here. You can see the top of it. This is where the Loch Ness Monster is.”
Gorka said: “No, isn’t Loch Ness up in Scotland?”
To which the mother-of-one replied: “I know, I’m joking.”
It comes after the pair took a trip to the Lake District to celebrate Gorka’s birthday earlier this month.
The footage was filmed for their latest YouTube series which debuted on the video-sharing site yesterday.
Gemma has recently opened up about the couple getting married and admitted: “It’s not in the plans”.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, she divulged: “I think if something’s not broke you don’t need to fix it. We live together and that’s enough for now.
“But I don’t think either of us are bothered about getting married to be honest. It’s not in the plans.”
Meanwhile, Gemma took to her Instagram stories today and thanked her fans for watching their first YouTube video.
In view of her 1.2 million followers, she said: “Hi everyone. Just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone whose watched our YouTube channel.
“We just decided to vlog on everything we’re going through at the moment as first-time parents and training again.”
She added: “Also, my post-partum training programme, fun stuff we do at home, Gorks and his tour. Just everything really.”
