Actor Dennis Quaid is engaged to his much younger girlfriend, Laura Savoie.
Us Weekly broke the news Quaid is ready to give marriage another try with Savoie. A source close to the 65-year-old Hollywood star spilled the news he popped the question to the 26-year-old. Details of the proposal have not been revealed at this time.
Hours before the engagement news broke, Quaid was photographed on a beach in Hawaii with his bikini-clad fiancé. They got in some paddleboarding on Waikiki Beach, while on vacation. A trip to the beach would be a great place to get engaged, maybe the vacation was so Quaid could get on bended knee.

It is unclear how long the duo has been a couple. In June, Us Weekly confirmed Quaid and Savoie were dating. Her Instagram account, now set to private, had pictures of the Hollywood star all over it before she changed the setting from public.
The actor wasn’t single for too long. He was in a relationship with Santa Auzina, as of earlier this year. However, the end of their romance was not made public until Quaid had already moved on with his now fiancé. The last time Quaid and Auzina were spotted together was at a Dallas Cowboys game in January.
Savoie is currently enrolled at the University of Texas, where she is working on her Ph.D. She is studying accounting at the Red McCombs School of Business and is a research assistant too. The blonde beauty is also a consultant for real estate operations at Pepperdine University, where she earned her undergraduate degree.

Quaid has admitted in the past he would not rule out getting married again. The actor was previously married to Kimberly Quaid for 12-years. They called it quits in 2016 but are co-parents to 8-year-old twins, son Thomas, and daughter, Zoe.
The Intruder star was, wed to Hollywood sweetheart, Meg Ryan from 1991 to 2001. They share son Jack, who is a talented actor like his famous parents. The 27-year-old found success this year on the Amazon series The Boys. Actress P.J. Soles is Quaid’s first wife. They were married from 1978 to 1983.
