Two couples received a slighter higher score of 16 points for their Samba; John Sergeant and Kristina Rihanoff in series six as well as Ruth Langsford and Anton Du Beke more recently in series 15.
As for the highest score awarded for the Samba during week five, three couples scored 23 points from the judges, but still found themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard.
During series two, Roger Black and Camilla Dallerup and Sarah Manners and Brendan Cole were joint last.
While in the third series, retired professional snooker player Dennis Taylor and his professional dance partner Izabela Hannah also scored 23 points.
