When is Birds of Prey coming out in UK cinemas?

Birds of Prey, full name Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) will be released in the UK on February 7, 2020.

Most countries across the world, including the USA and a lot of Europe, will also be able to watch the film from that date, though countries like Japan will have to wait until March 2020.

The film will later be followed by a new film about the Suicide Squad, called The Suicide Squad, which is slated for release in 2021.

While Margot Robbie will appear in The Suicide Squad again, with some of her previous Suicide Squad cast members such as Jai Courtenay and Viola Davis, many of the crew are not appearing again, while a whole host of new cast members will join including Doctor Who’s Peter Capaldi and Firefly star Nathan Fillion.

As well as those big names are John Cena, Joel Kinnaman, Taika Waititi, Pete Davidson, Idris Elba and Tinashe Kajese.

At the moment, little is known about who these stars will play in the movie, but director James Gunn told fans “don’t get too attached” when he released the cast list, meaning it is likely that the number of stars surviving the movie will be small.

What is the plot of Birds of Prey?

The plot follows Harley Quinn, last seen in 2016’s Suicide Squad, teaming up with Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett Bell), the Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez) to save Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco) from Gotham City’s Black Mask (Ewan McGregor).

It seems that Cassandra picks up a diamond belonging to Black Mask, and finds herself caught up in some very dangerous business, while Harley is recovering from her brutal break-up with the Joker.

The group team up, but finds themselves in another Suicide Squad situation, especially when they discover Black Mask has set cold-blooded killer Victor Zsasz (Chris Messina) on their tail.

Is there a trailer for Birds of Prey?

The first trailer for Birds of Prey recently dropped, showing Harley fighting for her life with the girls.

First, she is trying desperately to get over Joker, by tossing knives at a picture of his face and cutting her bunches.

Then she is seen drowning her sorrows with Black Canary, right before we see the other women she will soon enlist to join her killing gang.

Soon enough, they are forced to fight alongside her, despite being a little concerned by her mental state, as they try to escape Black Mask and save Cassandra.
