Call of Duty Modern Warfare release date is fast approaching, and the new COD game could launch on PS4, Xbox One and PCs with a major new feature.
The wait for Call of Duty Modern Warfare is almost over, with the new COD game’s release date only weeks away.
Activision and Infinity Ward will release Call of Duty Modern Warfare worldwide on October 25.
The new COD reboots the Modern Warfare franchise, bringing with it a mature and dark storyline in the campaign mode.
While COD fans recently got to try out the Modern Warfare multiplayer in two beta periods that took place this month.

In the aftermath of the latest Modern Warfare beta Activision announced details about what modes the new Call of Duty will launch with.
And they revealed that Call of Duty Modern Warfare could on day one feature a 100 player multiplayer mode.
Activision said: “The Beta showcased the unprecedented depth across Modern Warfare multiplayer, ranging from the close-quarter frenetic 2v2 Gunfight play, up to and including the world reveal of the epic large-scale Ground War mode supporting up to 64 players.
“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer is expected to support up to 100 players in select multiplayer experiences upon launch on October 25.
“Winner of the ‘Best Online Multiplayer’ by Game Critics Best of E3 2019, Modern Warfare’s ultimate multiplayer playground delivers an action-packed online experience with best-in-class down the barrel gameplay, along with unprecedented depth and variety.”
The reference to “select multiplayer experiences” could indicate that there will be multiple modes that support up to 100 players in the new COD.
It remains to be seen if one of these modes is for Battle Royale matches in Call of Duty Modern Warfare.
It was previously rumoured that Call of Duty Modern Warfare would be getting a free-to-play Battle Royale mode.
It’s claimed that this free download will launch in early 2020, months after Call of Duty Modern Warfare comes out.
In other Call of Duty news, this week it emerged that PS4 fans will be getting an exclusive Modern Warfare mode for an entire year.
The Spec Ops Survival Mode will only be playable on PS4 until October 1 2020.
The news will come as a big bonus to PS4 fans but a blow for Xbox One and PC gamers.
It isn’t the first time that the PS4 has secured exclusive rights to Call of Duty content.
But previously Xbox One and PC fans were waiting a matter of days for the content to arrive on their platforms, not an entire year.
