Blake Hortsmann Had A Breakdown After Exposing Caelynn Miller’s Texts Due To Receiving Death Threats!

Blake Hortsmann quite possibly had the worst time this season of Bachelor in Paradise. The reality star received backlash both on screen and off.

After Caelynn Miller revealed to cast mates that Blake hooked up with her and another Bachelor Nation star within 24 hours, the ladies were turned off by the 30-year-old who had a completely different recollection of events.

Once the episode aired, he received even more criticism that caused Blake to respond by posting text messages between him and Caelynn where it appears that she just wanted a hook up and nothing more.

The post and delete was accompanied by an Instagram Story that read: ‘This is the last thing I wanted to do, but my name and character are being attacked. My name is all I really have. Most of all, it is the only real way to prove that what is being said by Caelynn and the story that is being shown is far from the truth. I’m deeply sorry for my actions at Stagecoach but telling the world that I silenced a woman amongst many other harmful accusations was just too much.’

It turns out that Hortsmann would immediately regret his decision because he ended up getting death threats and being accused of slut-shaming.

He appeared on Rachel Lindsay and Ali Fedotowsky’s podcast where he relived the traumatic experience.

‘One of the reasons I deleted the text messages was I was having a complete breakdown. I was breathing into a paper bag. All of a sudden, I took a step back [and] I was like, ‘Caelynn’s feeling this way probably.’ And that killed me. I was like, ‘What I’m feeling right now?’ I just [hurt] somebody else, and that hurt, and that sucked.

To this day, Blake denies that he was trying to shame Caelynn. He simply wanted to clear his name.
