150 Hours Went Into Recreating The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past In Dragon Quest Builders 2

Just as Nintendo remastered The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for Switch, an ambitious player recreated The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past within Dragon Quest Builders 2. Everyone apparently has Zelda on the brain these days.

The player of note is BenXC, who uploaded a trailer for this ambitious project onto YouTube. Ben says the world building took over 150 hours spread across half of a year. Over 300,000 blocks were placed by hand to recreate the cities and Death Mountain, and over 2,500 trees were planted to replicate the wilderness.
