Jonathan Scott revealed that he was asked to be on Dancing with the Stars but chose not to! He also got candid about his brother, Drew’s experience on the show, which seems to have played a big role in his decision.
The Property Brothers star shared that, in the past, he was approached by the dancing show but he, as you know, did not follow into his brother’s footsteps.
Drew was part of the competition back in 2017.
As for the reason why Jonathan declined the offer, the reality TV star explained that he simply could not find time to learn choreos amid his busy schedule building houses.
While in attendance at an event promoting his and Drew’s new book, Big Builders: Better Together, the celeb chatted with HollywoodLife.
He revealed to the news outlet that ‘Yeah, if I had nothing else on my schedule, I would do it. I mean, he was crazy. When he (Drew) did it, we were filming, we were in the middle of 20 houses.’
Of course, he is also busy dating now since Jonathan has been making headlines due to his new romance with actress Zooey Deschanel.
Earlier this month, the two were photographed holding hands and it was super cute!
Their public hang out together came only a few days after the actress announced her and husband Jacob Pechenik’s split.
Even though the separation seemed to come out of nowhere, the ex-husband assured the press that they are still on good terms.

‘Yeah, everything is amicable and we have two beautiful children together. We’ve been raising them and we’re going to continue to raise them, and take great care of get them…I’m happy,’ he told HollywoodLife.
