Ivanka Trump is the daughter of Donald Trump who also acts as one of his senior political advisors. Yesterday, she attended a meeting on religious freedom at the United Nations headquarters in New York City. The businesswoman acted in her role of political advisor as she attended the event in the absence of her father. She cut a smart look in a fitted blue shirt which was similar to the shirt dress worn by Meghan Markle, 38, just hours before.
Ivanka opted for a formal look in a long-sleeved shirt, pencil skirt and high heel shoes. She used Instagram to share pictures from the event.
She wrote: “Three Pillars are seeking to economically empower women to re-invest in their families and communities, producing a multiplier effect that spurs economic growth + contributes to global peace & stability.

Her blue shirt appeared to take some inspiration from Meghan Markle who stepped out the same day in a shirt dress in a similar shade.
Ivanka kept the look casual by leaving the shirt undone from the top and her collar was open.
She tucked the design into a fitted skirt which showed off her toned figure.
Ivanka wore a white skirt that was given a pop of colour thanks to a yellow floral pattern up the right side of the look.
The design cut off at her knee and Ivanka flashed her legs by leaving them bare.
She completed the look with a pair of shiny black closed-toe high heel shoes.
The former model wore her short blonde locks down and straightened into a middle parting.
