Gorka Marquez doesn’t have a celebrity partner on Strictly Come Dancing this year but is still in the group dances.
And hanging out backstage before performing, the Spanish hunk was annoyed when he found out his slippers had been stolen.
Gorka, 29, shared a video of himself explaining to his Instagram followers about the situation, when he came across the guilty party.
He said to the camera: “So, I walked to wardrobe and I said: ‘Where’s my slippers, I can’t find them?’
“So I’m bare foot with no shoes then I find out…”
Filming his slippers with his name labelled on them, he continued: “They’re here, look, they say Gorka.”
Gorka them panned the camera to celebrity dancer, Catherine Tyldesley, who had a very guilty look on her face.
Unable to explain herself, she squirmed to the camera: “I did… I can’t… What…”
Her professional dancer partner, Johannes Radebe, added: “I don’t know where she got them!”
Catherine, who played Eva Price in Coronation Street, then confessed: “Wardrobe gave them to me…”
Gorka turned to the camera and warned his girlfriend, Gemma Atkinson: “You need to sort this out yeah, she’s taking my shoes!”
Gemma found the video hilarious as she re-posted it to her Instagram account with the caption: “Northerners do that! We’re all so tight.”
Despite not having a partner on this year’s series, Gorka was still talked about amongst Strictly Come Dancing viewers.
The professional dancer, who shares daughter Mia with Gemma, retweeted messages from fans on his Twitter account who missed him dancing.
One of the posts said: “Have loved @bbcstrictly tonight but still missing @gorkamarquez1. And wishing he had a celeb partner, love him!”
Another commented: “See there’s no fit @gorkamarquez1 on this year’s #StrictlyComeDancing that’s disappointing WHY !!???”
A third wrote: “Absolutely gutted they haven’t. Makes no sense at all. My 12 year old is a massive @gorkamarquez1 fan and she is really sad.”
Gorka joined Strictly Come Dancing in 2016 and went on to have partners, Tameka Empson, Alexandra Burke and Katie Piper.
Meanwhile, no one was voted off Strictly Come Dancing last night, meaning they all sail through to week two.
